To place an order online you need to have browsed the products on offer and added items to your shopping cart. You will note the number of required products, followed by any product specific choices, such as size, colour, design, etc. When you have added the item to your shopping cart you will be notified and the amount will be listed on the main screen. In regards to your order, we reserve the right:
* To cancel any order, at which time we will immediately attempt to notify this action by email or phone, using the email address or number/s provided. We will refund any monies paid using the original methods received.

PRICING AND GST
All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars and include the Australian Goods and Services Tax (GST). For customers outside of Australia, additional overseas duties and other customs charges may be applicable and are the responsibility of the purchaser, these additional charges are not included in the prices quoted.

We commit to using the most cost effective method in order to have your goods delivered safely and quickly to your door.
To ensure your orders are delivered safe and secure you will need to sign to accept delivery. We recommend that you use your work or other suitable daytime addresses to ensure someone is available to accept your order. You should also include a daytime phone number with your shipping details in case we need to contact you.
You may request a ATL (Authority To Leave) with the delivery of your items. This ATL must request that goods are left by the front door as no other instructions are acceptable. I understand and agree that this authority to leave, gives KITBAG and its Couriers the permission to leave any parcel(s) addressed to myself, or a representative of myself, unattended and without obtaining a signature confirming delivery at the delivery location.
I understand and agree that by requesting an "Authority to Leave", KITBAG and its Couriers, is/are released of all responsibility and liability for the parcel(s) and/or item(s) and its contents and that this responsibility and liability transfers to myself/my company of which I represent.
If you require your order to be shipped urgently or for delivery to a post office box you will need to select the appropriate option when checking out.

Kit Bag will make every effort to represent colours accurately. Unfortunately the quality and settings of computer monitors may vary considerably. Consequently there may be slight variations between the colour seen on the screen and the actual colour of the product supplied.
Although our best efforts are made to ensure the information on the website relating to stock availability is up to date, there may be occasions when some products are temporarily unavailable due to demand. If your order includes products which are subsequently found to be out of stock, we will make an assessment based upon the time it will take for the stock to arrive and the likelihood of delays in the process. If you have a significant order, and only a small section is unavailable, we will ship the order in two deliveries. If a significant part of the order is unavailable at the time, we will contact you with information on delays and an expected delivery date so you can make a decision on continuing the order. Every effort will be made to keep you informed of any instance where an out of stock item requires a waiting period.
RETURN AND REFUND POLICY
Any claims whatsoever are subject to you providing a valid Proof of Purchase.
If you are not happy with the product you purchased online, Kit Bag is happy to exchange it or provide you with a credit on your customer account, providing the product is:
* Returned within 7 days of receipt of goods
* In its original condition, undamaged and unopened
* Accompanied by the receipt
* Returned with all packaging, instructions and guarantees and
* In a re-saleable condition
The customer will pay all return freight charges. If the goods are faulty, wrongly described or different from a sample shown, you may choose between a exchange or a credit. The Kitbag reserves the right to charge a 10% restocking fee where applicable.
PLEASE NOTE: For liability reasons and our customers personal safety, we cannot accept returns on any climbing/mountaineering gear or ropes at any time (excluding warranty situations or shipping errors).
Items may be returned for a warranty claim under the manufacturers warranty conditions.
RETURNING AN ITEM
* Log into the website and bring up the order by searching your recent purchases by date. (located in the "Complete Orders" section of "My Account")
* Locate the item you wish to send back and press the 'Return' button provided. Fill in the appropriate details in Reason and return Action as well as leaving a note if required. You will be issued with a RID number (Return I.D.)
* Then submit return. Once we receive the Return notice from you, you will be advised of the action we have taken and what to do next.
* Please ensure that your RID number is clearly displayed on the return packaging.
* The return must be received by Kit Bag within (14) fourteen days of the RID number being issued.
* Replacement product will only be shipped after the faulty item has been received by Kit Bag. All returns must have an RID number.
* Any item that is returned to Kit Bag without an RID number will be returned to sender.
* If you feel that your return falls outside of our policy, then you will need to complete the online Contact Form, or contact the Kit Bag to confirm if your return can be accepted.
CHANGING OR CANCELLATIONS INFORMATION
Should you wish to amend or cancel your order, contact us as soon as possible stating the order number via the Contact Us section of the website and send us an email. There is no guarantee that we will be able to complete a cancellation or amendment, though all efforts will be made to assist.
All purchases made will incur the legislative goods and services tax currently set at ten percent (if applicable).

Garmont Boot Warranties/Conditions
1. Unused/unworn Garmont boots purchased directly from Kit Bag or from the website www.kitbag.com.au:
If you are not completely satisfied with the boots you purchased directly from Kit Bag and would like to return them you MUST in the first instance, contact our Kit Bag Garmont Boot Customer Service Department by telephone on 08 9 250 8448 or via email at email@example.com to discuss this. If the return of the boots is approved you will be given a return authorisation number. The initial request must be made within 30 days of the date of purchase. Any refund will be done at the discretion of the Kit Bag. No returns will be approved for boots outside the 30 day period.
All footwear must be returned unused/unworn with postage prepaid and in its original packaging (please do not send footwear just in the original box please use additional outside packaging), COD shipments will NOT be accepted. No refund can be done until the after the original pair is received back by Kit Bag. Any refund approved will cover the price of the boots, excluding any shipping charges less a 10 % re-stocking fee.
If you have purchased the wrong size and wish to exchange your boots for another size you MUST in the first instance contact our Kit Bag Garmont Boot Customer Service Department by telephone on 08 9 250 8448 or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss this. If the exchange of the boots is approved you will be given a return authorisation number. Please note that the boots must be unused /unworn and the initial request made within 30 days of the date of purchase. Any exchange will be done at the discretion of the Kit Bag. No exchanges will be approved for boots outside the 30 day period. If the exchange is approved a new pair will be shipped to you, but Kit Bag will not reimburse you for the shipping cost to return the original pair. All footwear must be returned unused/unworn with postage prepaid and in its original packaging (please do not send footwear just in the original box please use additional outside packaging), COD shipments will NOT be accepted.. No exchange can be done until the after the original pair is received back by Kit Bag. There is a limit of one exchange per pair of boots purchased.
Kit Bag will not issue any refunds or exchanges on boots that show any signs of wear or have been altered in any way from their original condition.
Kit Bag is unable to accept any returns or exchanges that have not been purchased directly or are not accompanied by a return authorization number.
2. Unused/unworn Garmont boots purchased from an approved Kit Bag Dealer within Australia and New Zealand
If you purchased your boots from a Kit Bag approved dealer, (please see list of approved dealers on our website) please contact the approved dealer for further information.
3. DEFECTIVE BOOTS
The manufacturer’s warranty insures its boots to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the date of purchase. If a defect in materials and/or workmanship occurs within the one year period, Kit Bag will at its discretion either repair or replace the boots.
Boots that are NOT considered to be defective include but are not limited to:
Boots that show signs of normal wear and tear or are damaged due to excessive wear
Boots damaged by improper boot maintenance or lack of maintenance
Boots that are of an incorrect size, but have been worn
Boots returned after the return / warranty period has expired
Boots that have been used for activities they were not designed for
If you think you have a genuinely defective boot please in the FIRST INSTANCE contact our Kit Bag/Garmont Customer Service Department by telephone on 08 9 250 8448 or via email at email@example.com to discuss your claim.
All claims for defective footwear will be inspected and if the footwear is found to be defective Kit Bag will determine eligibility for a refund, exchange or merchandise credit. Kit Bag’s decision is final.
