Great to cut in half and make two!!!

Thinner, bit more rigid and not as squishy as most mats. Still insulates well, but not for princesses...

Unmodified, these mats are quite large. Because they fold-up instead of roll, it means you can use ALL of the surface. No losing a couple of inches that refuse to sit flat.

Bought one, cut it in half and gave the other half to a friend. Makes two separate mats that are long enough for head-to-hips (cold and comfort protection) and small enough to fit in front of bivvy+sleeper in the bottom of the pack (with a little extra folding).
