Fantastic Field Jacket

I bought this jacket for getting around the outdoors in. It has pockets enough to stash all sorts of kit in: cameras, GPS, pocket knife, notebook, pens batteries and other paraphenalia. It really keeps the wind and rain out and is warm as. Well recommended.

Whilst training in England with the British Army, our gear obviously not designed to cope with the cold wind and rain. While my mates were freezing with the isseud gear, I was very warm and dry wearing this smock. My smock was the old varient with the two bottom pouches that fit a pan set messing, however still made from the same material. Best bit of kit I have ever bought.

I was really scared to part with the nearly $300 for this jacket but I did it anyway. I wanted the waterproof one specifically for bad hunting weather. I can honestly say its beautiful in heavy rain. The next test was warmth and I camped out coldest night of 2010 winter(a Perth record). Ice formed on the back of this jacket while underneath all I had was T-shirt and wool vest and sleeping bag up to my waist. That night I slept like a baby in the Bickley valley! Great for hunting off a motor bike. Very durable fabric and excellent pocket storage for shotgun shells. Really love it!
