I work in humanitarian demining and I have carried one of these around on my belt in several locations around the globe. It has scraped hard ground, cut branches, prised open tins of paint and been used as a trowel in the snow. As well it has cut the odd bit of meat up as well as detonating cord and explosive blocks and been a general handy item for everything else in between. The parkerised blade stands up to use well and the sharpening stone keeps the blade edge sharp. Well recommended for the outdoors and just surviving!
