  2. Superb jacket

Posted by James Adley on 14th Mar 2016

I bought this jacket today! Trying it on in 39c heat wasn't a smart move but I can see come winter it's going to be a brilliant jacket! A plethora of pockets ! Quality jacket!
Thanks Kitbag for another brilliant product!

  3. good for day to day use

Posted by Unknown on 13th Jun 2015

I've had this jacket for a while now and it has held up to use this far. used it for three weeks walking to work in heavy rain and kept me dry. Also have used it in snow and performed well

  4. Not just for the bush

Posted by David on 23rd May 2015

Have had this jacket for a while. I even tested it under the shower when I first got it. Keeps you warm and dry, but use the vents to avoid sweat drenching you.mm
Currently overseas and easily stow hotel key, city map, transport passes etc. the vent at the rear even accommodates a collapsible 1 litre water bottle, and or rain pants. MHands free and no backpack.
With the various zips all is secure from all but the very best pickpockets..
Only reason it doesn't rate five stars is the hood is a pain if you wear glasses, you kneed to wear a hat or cap to stop head movements moving the specs. Stowed in its pouch it does support the neck when you have a snooze. If that's a pain stow it in the rear pocket.
A minor beef, as has been mentioned is the lack of hand warming pockets.
    A great jacket

  5. Great Jacket, great price

Posted by LuckyLuke on 12th May 2014

A great jacket for a great price. It's windproof ability is excellent and it has so many pockets you loose thing in them! The vent slits are a great addition too. Stylish enough to be worn for most occasions, mine is the black version. The only complaint I have is the lack of hand-warming pockets, when you don't have them you really miss them.

  6. Thanks for Previous reviews everyone!

Posted by Philly on 8th Sep 2013

After reading all these great reviews i had to try one on for myself. I was not disappointed at all, this jacket is amazing. Very warm and durable. loos and feels great with lots of pockets and breathers for all conditions.
After first trying this jacket in tan, i now own in black also and highly recommend this jacket.
    Thanks Kitbag

  7. Great in any weather

Posted by Kerry on 4th Jul 2013

Had less than a week and by far the best jacket I've ever owned. Was tested in all weather whilst camping out and hiking. From early morning rain, to humid overcast mugginess, to midday sunny conditions. The venting zips took the heat away when needed. 100% water proof guarenteed. Mine was in Desert Tan which complimented Multicam very well. The Hood when stored in the collar was bulky, but I found the hood stored even better in the zippered hip / lower back venting section. Velcro Shoulder areas catered well for ANF Patches and Morale or Blood Group Patches. Can't waiting wait to purchase one in black for use in urban areas.

  8. Great for the wet

Posted by Josh on 28th Jun 2013

First time out we had just over a 100mm rain in an old tent. The tent leaked and I was outside getting a 3x3 tarp over the top. Worked with my hands above my head the whole time without any water getting into the jacket. Very impressed!!

  9. Great Wet Weather General Purpose

Posted by Ozgeardo on 2nd Jun 2013

Owned this jacket for a few months but gave it a real workout during a very wet weekend whilst instructing a navigation training exercise. Love most of the pockets but disapointed that it does not have a large map pocket on the front. Has a pocket for everything else.
Very impressed with the "D" loops in the front pockets for attaching compass/GPS/torch & other mission critical equipment.
Handled the wet conditions very well (I was warm & dry, most students soaked)

  10. Great jacket.

Posted by Danny on 1st May 2013

Fantastic jacket, they have thought of everything when designing this, it even has a fleece pull over section to protect your chin/ beard from the zipper. Great service from the team at The Kit Bag, they helped with sizing and it was received well before the expected date, highly recommend.
