This model is a genuine British MOD Knife All Black. mk3

The original Fairbairn Sykes knife was developed during World War II, when Wilkinson Sword collaborated with Capt. William E Fairbairn and Capt. Eric A Sykes to design a knife for the newly formed British Commando Force. Commonly known as the 'Commando Knife', this knife was arguably the most famous knife of the 20th century.

  • 11 1/2" overall. 6 3/4" black finish stainless dagger blade.
  • Grooved black cast metal handle with black finish cross guard and pommel.
  • Cross guard is stamped "William Rodgers". Best Bridle MOD leather belt sheath with metal tip.
