G10 or Garolite, is a resin-based composite material that has become a popular choice for knife handles. Rather than incorporating various fabrics like Micarta, G10 is constructed of glass fiber sheets which give the finished product increased strength and a lightweight feel.

9C18MOV is a type of high-carbon stainless steel that is is known for its excellent corrosion resistance, as well as its overall durability and toughness. Thanks to its carbide structure and carbon, 9Cr18MoV obtains a score of 58 to 60 HRC on the Rockwell Hardness Scale.
