THE WOOBIE BLANKET super versatile or as some people call them poncho liners.

Originally designed by the military for US Special Forces soldiers who needed an insulating layer that was packable, lightweight, abrasion resistant, dried quickly and helped regulate body temperature while on the move and in camp. The Woobie is the perfect blanket for military personnel or outdoor enthusiasts.

Why do soldiers love the woobie?

Why Do Troops Love The Woobie? Today, deployed service members and veterans alike hold the woobie in high regard. Troops deployed in the field can use them as blankets, tent dividers, and field expedient shelters or sleeping bags. Woobies can also trap a person's body heat, even when soaking wet.

Wash with cold water on the delicate setting. Line dry, or dry on low heat with the gentlest setting. DO NOT BLEACH! Or don't wash it at all and let your woobie hoodie *marinate* (subject to spousal approval!).
