RETURN AND REFUND POLICY

Returns, Exchanges & Warranty Policy

At Kit Bag Tactical, our goal is to ensure that all returns are handled fairly, efficiently, and in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

All claims or return requests must be accompanied by valid proof of purchase.

Returns & Exchanges

If you experience a problem with an item purchased online or in-store, Kit Bag may offer an exchange or store credit, provided the following conditions are met:

Return Conditions

Returned items must:

• Be returned within 7 days of receiving the goods

• Be in original condition, unused and undamaged and 
  be accompanied by the original receipt or proof of purchase

• Include all packaging, instructions, accessories and warranties

• Be in new, resaleable condition

Important Return Information

• Freight or postage charges are non-refundable.

• Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.

• A 10% restocking fee may apply to returned retail items.

• A 25% restocking fee may apply to returned wholesale items.

Returns may be accepted for exchange, store credit or refund where, for example:

• The incorrect size was purchased

• The item does not perform according to the manufacturer’s specifications

All items must be inspected physically or virtually ie photo/s by Kit Bag before any credit or exchange can be issued. 

Kit Bag does not offer refunds for situations but not limited to, change of mind, buyer’s remorse or if the item is no longer required.

Non-Returnable Items

For safety, hygiene, and liability reasons, the following items cannot be returned (except in the case of warranty faults or shipping errors):

• Underwear

• Climbing or mountaineering gear

• Climbing ropes

• Food items (including ration packs)

• Pepper spray

• Certain electrical items (must be tested before credit is issued)

Warranty Claims

Items may be returned under the manufacturer’s warranty conditions.

Kit Bag Warranty Period

Kit Bag provides a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase.

What the Warranty Covers

The warranty applies only to manufacturing defects, such as:

• Faulty stitching

• Missing components

• Manufacturing errors

What the Warranty Does Not Cover

The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, including:

• Holes

• Broken stitching from use

• Tears caused during normal wear

• Damage caused by misuse or negligence

All tactical clothing and equipment will eventually show wear through use, which is not covered under warranty.

Warranty Conditions

• Warranty coverage 12 months from the original purchase date.

• Repairs or replacements do not extend the original warranty period.

• Warranty claims result in repair or replacement only.

• Refunds are not issued for warranty claims.

• Shipping costs are not refundable.

Our warranty policy operates in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

How to Make a Warranty Claim

To submit a warranty claim: Email despatch@kitbag.com.au

Please include:

• A description of the fault

• Two JPEG photos clearly showing the issue 

Returning an Item

Once your return is approved:

• The item must be received by Kit Bag within 14 days of return authorization.

• Replacement products will only be shipped once the returned item has been received and inspected.

• If your return falls outside our policy, please contact Kit Bag to discuss your situation.

Order Changes or Cancellations

If you wish to change or cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible and provide your order number.

While we will make every effort to assist, order changes or cancellations cannot be guaranteed once processing has begun.

Taxation Information

All purchases are subject to the current rate of Australian Goods and Services Tax (GST) where applicable.

Liability

Kit Bag is not responsible for:

• Damage resulting from customer misuse or negligence

• Improper use of equipment

• Breaches of our terms and conditions of sale

Customers acknowledge that Kit Bag will not be liable for delivery delays caused by third-party carriers or circumstances outside our control.

Customers must be 18 years or older to purchase any sharp instruments or restricted items. By purchasing these items, you confirm you meet this legal requirement.
