Designed for demanding field use, extended outdoor trips and organised equipment carry, the RECON GS2™ MT 2.0 QUICK DROP™ combines a generous 60-litre capacity with a removable external frame and fast-release harness system.
Its aluminium quick-release buckles allow the pack to be released rapidly when required, while the upgraded ventilated rear suspension helps improve comfort and airflow during extended wear.

The large top-loading main compartment provides substantial room for clothing, equipment and essential supplies.
Two fixed external pouches keep frequently used items accessible, while two removable side pouches provide additional modular storage. An external IFAK pouch offers a designated location for first-aid equipment.
Aluminium quick-release buckles allow the pack to be removed rapidly without working through conventional strap adjustments.
The adjustable sternum strap helps stabilise the load, while the ventilated rear suspension system is designed to improve airflow and carrying comfort.
The removable external ABS frame provides additional structure and load support. It can be detached when a lighter or more flexible pack configuration is preferred.
A 3-litre hydration bladder is housed in its own zippered compartment for convenient access. Two hydration ports allow the drinking hose to be routed from either side of the pack.
Laser-cut MOLLE platforms allow compatible pouches, tools and accessories to be attached and arranged according to individual requirements.

Although the pack is equipped with waterproof zippers, the complete pack is not described as fully waterproof. Sensitive equipment should be placed in appropriate waterproof storage when exposure to heavy rain is expected.

How does the quick-release system work?

Can the external frame be removed?
Yes. The ABS external frame can be removed when it is not required.
