The RECON GS2™ MPLS Universal Tactical Helmet Light is a compact, versatile hands-free lighting solution designed for helmets, tactical equipment, outdoor gear and MOLLE-compatible platforms.

Featuring a flexible metal lamp neck, multiple LED lighting options and four interchangeable mounting platforms, the MPLS can be positioned exactly where you need illumination while keeping both hands free.

White, Colour & IR Lighting

Depending on the model selected, the light combines white illumination with either red or green light, plus IR (infrared). Or just simply White flashlight only your choice.

The large, easy-to-operate switch is designed for straightforward operation and can be used while wearing gloves.

The supplied mounting accessories allow the MPLS light to be fitted to:

Flexible & Adjustable Lamp Neck

The flexible metal neck can be bent, rotated and repositioned, allowing you to direct the light exactly where it is required without having to reposition the entire mount.

Ideal for close-range task lighting, equipment checks, navigation and other situations where hands-free illumination is useful.

All six versions feature the same flexible and rotatable lamp neck and include the four interchangeable mounting accessories for FAST helmet rails, Picatinny rails, MICH helmets and MOLLE / PALS platforms.

Please note: IR illumination is included only with the Red + White + IR and Green + White + IR versions. The White LED versions provide visible white illumination only.

Power

Powered by either:

• 1 × CR2032 3V lithium battery, or

• 2 × CR2016 batteries stacked together for increased brightness

Batteries are not included.

When installing two CR2016 batteries, ensure they are correctly stacked with the negative pole facing down. Secure the battery cover firmly after installation to maintain reliable contact.

We recommend removing the battery when the light will be stored or unused for an extended period.

Does it fit FAST helmets?

Yes. A compatible FAST helmet rail mounting accessory is included.

Can it be fitted to MOLLE equipment?

Yes. The supplied mounting accessories allow the light to be attached to compatible MOLLE / PALS equipment.

Does it fit Picatinny rails?

Yes. A Picatinny-compatible mounting accessory is included.

Does it have infrared light?

Yes. Each configuration includes an IR LED mode in addition to its visible lighting options.

Can I adjust the direction of the light?

Yes. The flexible metal neck can be bent and rotated to position the light where required.

Is it waterproof?

The light is described as water resistant rather than fully waterproof. It should not be submerged.

Which version should I choose?

There are four combinations available: Midnight Black or Expedition Tan body, each with a choice of Red + White + IR or Green + White + IR illumination.
